Nicki Minaj Responds to Remy Ma With 3 Songs and a 72-Hour Challenge to "Drop a Hit"

After Remy Ma took shots at Nicki Minaj on “Shether” and “Another One,” Nicki has finally responded with three new songs of her own.
The most pointed of these is “No Frauds” (available on iTunes), which features Drake, Lil Wayne, and lines like, “You a fraud committing perjury, I got before and after pictures of your surgery.” Nicki also brought up the incident that led to Remy’s incarceration in 2008: “What type of bum bitch shoot her friend over a rack / What type of mother leave her son over a stack?” Then there’s this:
You can’t be Pablo if your work ain’t sellin’
What the fuck is this bitch inhalin’?
I woulda helped you out that pit you fell in
I am the generous queen, ask Ms. Ellen
Tried to drop “Another One,” you was itchin’ to scrap
You exposed your ghostwriter, now you wish it was scrapped
On Instagram, Nicki wrote a long message to Remy, and said she’d pay her $500,000 if she could “drop a hit” in 72 hours without mentioning Nicki’s name. She also addressed criticism that it took her too long to respond to “Shether,” writing, “Here at Young Money, we don’t do diss records, we drop HIT RECORDS and diss you ON them…Queens don’t move on peasant time. Queens shut down Paris, then drop hits on #QueenTime.”
In an interview with the podcast Another Round, Remy said that her feelings on “Shether” are more complicated than you might think. “I don’t regret it, but I’m just not particularly proud of it either,” she explained. She also said she wishes that she and Nicki could have collaborated instead, but said, “You can’t force somebody to do something they don’t want to do.”
