A very pregnant Beyonce is scheduled to perform at the 2017 Coachella festival and it's costing them a whopping $1 million.
Even more interesting is the fact that the pop singer would be receiving the payment with or without her performance.
As unlikely as it may
seem, a simple insurance policy offered to entertainers ensures that
entertainers earn from performances even if they are forced to cancel it
for one reason or the other.
In Beyonce's case, one of such things could be pregnancy.
Seeing as the pregnant
mother-of-one is carrying twins after trying for a long time, she is
inclined to call off her performance if her doctor thinks it would be
dangerous for the star and her unborn babies.
The insurance company will be forced to pay the fee while the event organizers scramble for a replacement act.
Beyonce is yet to
announce the month of her delivery but she is slated to perform at the
Grammy's come next
